Dear All,
I am a Linux admin and don't know much about the safe issue for IIS server.
But in work, I need to manage a IIS server which is built in Win 2008 R2 Standard. And also FTP service needs to run.
Due to economical reason, there is not any Anti-virus software in the server. So I had installed a free Firewall to avoid the attacks from Internet.
As far as I know, I checked IIS log everyday and also changed remote port for the server.
But during checking the safe log in Firewall, it still shows there are many attacks like http CC attacking, Syn Flood attacking, http proxy attacking. So could you give me advice on how to strengthen the security for IIS server?
Would appreciate for any good advice.
