WebDAV with Windows and Digest Authentication

Hello to everyone!

I'm newbie to IIS and I want to ask the following question:

I have an Azure Windows 2012R2 server with IIS 8.5 (WebDAV) only through HTTPS to share files to my windows users wherever they are, through map drive in their laptops.

For authentication we use only Windows Authentication.

Now we want to sync the WebDAV to a Synology NAS (via Cloud Sync) but Synology Technical Support said that Cloud Sync does not support Windows IIS server with NTLM auth and supports only digest authentication.

Could someone tell me if its right to install digest auth and how to add it to the particular WebDAV site?

I'll have to change things to Windows clients?
