I have a windows server 2016 core (AWS) WebDAV installed all updates installed. I can access the IIS website page, and when I put the urlhttp://server/webdav_share in a browser I get prompted for login credentials (anonymous auth is disabled) put in credentials and I get to the share and files in the share. My problem is that when I try use a WebDAV client (carotdav ) or windows explorer to map a drive to the WebDAV share I get prompted for login info but the login prompt just redisplays after 3 tries I get a display "Windows cannot accesshttp://server/share Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there may be a problem with your network error code 0x80070043 I also get "The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred Access denied. The strange thing is when I look in the windows event log security log the account the I am trying to use to login to the WebDAV share says it logged in successfully then the next line in the log state the account logged out. I have tried many solutions from google but none have worked, any ideas are greatly appreciated.
