Is there a way to use an IIS Manager account to secure a web directory?

Maybe, there is a solution available in the meantime.

In Detail: Windows 2012 Server, IIS 8. I have a SSL secured webpage (application directory) which should be accessed by a number of useraccounts through the web browser. No windows accounts, but IIS manager accounts! Is there a solution available (basic authentication) with IIS manager users and without programming?
