In IIS7 mgmt console, if I select a folder under a website, I can then select "Authentication" and enable/disable Anonymous authentication. This affects just that folder correct?
Im trying to figure out why an authenticated user can browse the site, but the files in that folder cant. Ideas?
My website (Intranet app) is set to use windows authentication, but I want to allow users access to access avi files in a folder, but dont want to have to manage putting these users in a domain group etc. So an authenticated domain user can get into the website, but since the only real user that has access to these files is the local system accounts NETWORK SERVICE and IUSR_, the actual user wont be able to
