I am new to this forum, if I make any mistakes in posting, please kindly let me know.
I am working on a task to move IIS 6 (windows 2003 R2) to II 7.5 on windows 2008 R2.
But I am not really familiar with the security settings on IIS, what I want to achieve is that I only wants domain user to access
our internal website. I have following questions in mind and hope professional here can give me some hints:
(1) Is it possile to have domain user authenticated for ASP? Or both HTML and ASP can be done?
Any web link can teach me about this?
(2) In the past, it seems need to user "IUSR" account in IIS 6, does it require to do so in IIS 7.5 ?
(3) In IIS 7.5, there is a new user account named "IUSR", if I need to have domain authenticated,
is this account still be required?
Any advice is welcome and your help is really be appreciated.
