401.1 Error - Using only Basic Authentication-

Hi,

please help. I'am at the end of my ideas.

I'm using IIS 7.5

I've created in IIS Manager an Application Pool "OLAP" under the default websites. The requirement is to use only the basic authentication without any windows domain account. (We are going to connect our ssas cubes with an external reporting tool (pentaho))

Therefore i created an User in IIS User Manager and permitted him to access the Application Pool OLAP.

When i try to connect the msmdpump.dll-File on the local system i alway get the error "401.1".

If i use the windows authentication, everything works fine.

Has someone any constructive ideas or question to support?
