IIS 8.5 Remote virtual Directory files are not accessable

Hi, 

In the IIS , for the default website I have created a virtual directory to the remote server \\remoteserver\myfolder.

The directory and files inside it do have everyones permissions plus IIS_IUSRS plus all the rest.

I can display files from my virtual directory on my website. But when I click on the link to the file it cannot open it. It says:

HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized
