Forms Auth redirects for two sites

I have IIS 7.5 on Windows 2008 R2 server. I have a forms auth app on this server which runs as desired. When I create another site from the IIS Manager and navigate to the default.htm of the new site it navigates back to my forms auth site for login. I am trying to create a new site such that I can place a static site on the server without redirecting to the forms auth site. Need some help.
