iis8 Windows Authentication: Why can't I log into a site from the iis8 Browse command?

Hi,

I'm working through a book on iis8 and on the security chapter.  When I configure a web site for Windows Authentication (Anonymous disabled), iis8 won't accept the credentials for a domain user.

If I try to hit the site from a different PC on the domain using the same user credentials, I get in.

Is this normal behavior, or is there some other setting required to enable Browse access from within iis8?
