Hi,
The text I'm reading didn't explicity say that using Windows Authentication (Anonymous disabled) on a web site ALLOWS access to the site from the internet, but it implied it. The text stated that Windows Authenication is a great way to setup an internal site that needs security, but it implied that internet access would NOT exist using this method.
The next authentication method in the text is Basic Authentication and the implication is that Basic is needed for access across the internet.
My site with Windows Authentication ONLY gives a logon screen across the internet and accepts domain credentials to give access to the site.
Is this normal?
Thanks.
Best Regads,
Alan
